The Maldaner process

A sequence of six industrial stages under vacuum and pressure to permanently fill the porosities. Impregnation does not modify the dimensions or mechanical characteristics of the parts.

Each step is controlled and reproducible to guarantee lasting sealing and perfect traceability.

01

Dry vacuum

A vacuum of 10⁻³ bars is created to extract air from the porosities. This phase prepares the part to receive the impregnation product.

02

Wet vacuum

The impregnation product penetrates the porosities while the vacuum evacuates the residual air. The finer networks begin to fill up.

03

Atmospheric pressure

After releasing the vacuum, atmospheric pressure pushes the product to the bottom of the micro-porosities for complete clogging.

04

Washing

A water bath removes the surface film of product. The parts are cleared of excess without additional cleaning.

05

Polymerization

Polymerization at 90°C permanently fixes the impregnant in the part. Rapid surface setting prevents any bleeding.

06

Drying

Vacuum drying of hot parts to guarantee dry parts and limit any risk of corrosion.

Leak-tightness control and traceability on each batch.

Key points of the process

Without dimensional impact

Impregnation does not modify the dimensional and mechanical characteristics. The parts do not require any retouching after treatment.

Reproducible & traced

Recorded parameters, integrated controls and declarations of conformity to meet the most demanding specifications.

Adapted to the series

From single pieces to large series. Manual or fully automated installations, integrable into the production line.
